Normal radiology tests were conducted for cricketers at the end of last month.

Replace Fast Bowler?

Doctors found a small rupture in the Burmah’s back. With this, the selectors of Bumrani have left the series.

Another fast bowler, Umesh Yadav, has been selected to replace him.

Doctors who examined the severity of the injury initially indicated that they needed a few weeks of rest.

Being a fast bowler, the BCCI plans to offer better healing as there is a risk of recurrence of the injury.

BCCI also took the view of National Cricket Academy Head Physiotherapist Ashish Kaushik.

Usually, cricketers are injured by medical treatment at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

With this, the injured Bumrah was also monitored for almost a week at the NCA.

However, since the injury is so sensitive, the BCCI has decided to show it to specialists in Britain as a precautionary measure.
