Mayank Agarwal Double Century. India declare for 502

Mayank Agarwal Double Century Indian opener Mayank Agarwal scored a double century in the first Test against South Africa at Visakhapatnam.

He scored his first century as a double century.

Mayank Agarwal Double Centurytes, who scored 84 on the first day, He reached a double century on Thursday. He completed his double century in 358 balls.

Mayank made his 215 runs of (371 balls; 23 fours and 6 sixes). Dane Pete was caught out on dean Elgar bowling.

India declared at 502 for seven in 136 overs.

The first innings score at the Visakhapatnam ground so far is 455 runs.

India won the toss and elected to bat.

Another opener, Rohit Sharma, hit the first day’s century with a personal score of 176.

Rohit’s innings included 23 fours and six sixes.

317 run partnership

Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal together shared the first-wicket partnership of 317 runs. Pujara, who came to bat after Rohit was out, was dismissed for just six runs.

Mayank then shared a 53-run partnership with captain Virat Kohli and 54-run partnership with Ajinkya Rahane.

Kohli scored 20, Rahane 15, Hanuma Vihari 10 and Vriddhiman Saha 21.

Ravindra Jadeja (30) and Ravichandra Ashwin (1) were all out.

South African bowlers Keshav Maharaj took three wickets. Philander, Senuran Mutusamy, Elgar and Dane Pete took one.
