NCP chief Sharad Pawar is scheduled to meet Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on September 17 after he was informed of the formation of the government along with the Shiv Sena.

The deadlock on the formation of the government in Maharashtra seems to have gone away. Talks between the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress have come to ahead. 

According to reliable information. The NCP and Congress seem to have agreed to hand over the post of Shiv Sena chief minister for five years. 

NCP and Congress have agreed to appoint 14 ministers, including Deputy CM. It is also reported that the three parties have worked out a minimum joint plan. 

Shivsena demands Bharat Ratna for RSS leader Veer Savarkar Set. Similarly, the NCP and Congress have met the demand for a 5% reservation for Muslims.

He will discuss the formation of the government with the Shivsena and the strategies to be adopted in the future.

A presidential rule in Maharashtra is ongoing. Despite becoming the largest party, the BJP did not go ahead with the formation of the government after the Shivsena sought a CM post.

Against this backdrop, suspicion over the formation of the government continued. 

With the Shivsena finally agreeing to the NCP and the Congress, the three parties will form a coalition government.
