Sunil Chhetri, Dear India, that is my team. And those are my team.

Hyderabad: Captain Sunil Chhetri lauded the Indian team’s performance in the FIFA World Cup Qualifying Tournament against Qatar. 

In the FIFA rankings on Tuesday, the match against Qatar, better than India, ended in a 0-0 draw.

The two teams each got one point with the draw. After the match, Sunil Chhetri shared his happiness on Twitter with fans. “Dear India, these are my teammates.

They are my teammates. I cannot express how proud I am. Even if the points are not good enough, the fight is admirable. The credit goes to the coaching staff and others.”

Qatar stage qualifier matches for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar. The Indian football team did a fantastic job in this match.

India lost to Qatar 1–2 in their opening match against Oman on September 5, but lost to Qatar.

Qatar did not score a single goal, beating India’s expectations in the match against Jassim Bin Hamad on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu played a key role in the match. Star player and captain Sunil Chhetri missed the match due to ill health.

India became the fourth country after Brazil, Argentina and Colombia to score Qatar without a goal.

The match ended in a draw and India finished fourth in the points table. This led India to win the next three matches.
